Another blue day for #thedillyn today--lil' bubbies went to the vet today. Again. As a result of her kidney disease, it appears she also has feline "tooth resorption" (Google it, it's gross). Oddly enough, roughly 50% of all cats get this, and sadly suffer the pain in silence due to their nature. There isn't a cure. It's all about maintenance, and creating comfort. Pulling teeth is an option but does very little except put her at more risk. ANYWAYS while there, we had them add some subcutaneous fluids to aid her kidneys. Basically dumping a bunch of water into her body cavity for absorption. The resultant bag of water ends up in various places over the course of a few days, until she absorbs it. Can anybody point out the embarrassing "extra baggage" bag this time? .
